Join us for a free, hands-on Colorado Brownfields Workshop on Wednesday, November 12 at Suplizio Field (Grand Junction Jackalopes stadium) in Grand Junction. The workshop is open to all, free of charge, and geared toward communities and partners on the central Western Slope. We’ll start with a quick Brownfields 101, then cover how to identify and prioritize sites, plan assessments and cleanup (TBA, Phase I/II ESAs, VCUP), and build a simple funding plan using state and federal resources through CDPHE and EPA. In the afternoon, bring a site (or two) and we’ll outline reuse ideas, a rough timeline, and the steps to move your project forward.
